A Friend of The Family!
Welcome to an exciting year ahead for Friends of West Hove Infant School!
Friends of West Hove Infant School aim to enhance the school community by:
• Raising money towards particular projects.
• Providing the children with fun events.
• Encouraging everyone to participate in our school community.
We have some great events planned and we hope to become an official PTA (Parent Teacher Association) - so watch this space!!
Upcoming events
The annual and always popular Spooky Disco will be on 19th October. There will be two time slots again this year - 4.45 to 6pm (great for the younger kids) and 6.15 to 7.30pm.
Why not get your kids to enter the Spooky Disco Poster Competition! All posters must have the following information on to enter:
Spooky Disco, Friday 19th October 2007
4.45 - 6pm and 6.15 - 7.30pm.
Please make sure your child's name and class are written on the back of the poster and they are handed in to your class teacher before Friday 5th October. Good luck!
There will be a Winter / Xmas decoration making workshop near the end of term, so come and help us get creative with glitter! And we are also hoping to organise a Winter Spectacular, together with the Junior School. More information coming to a poster near you soon!
There's more to come next term too, but if you have any great event ideas, please do let us know!
Now for the pleading bit!
As always, we need YOU! There is a range of activities we need help with: from buying booze to blowing up balloons, from putting up posters to putting up prizes! There is always a lot to do and more hands would be very welcome. And it's lots of fun too...honestly!
